Social Skills Group For Children Ages 8-10

A small, specialized multi-family group designed to help your child grow in a number of key areas:

  • Breaking down barriers in making friends and socializing
  • Conflict resolution strategies
  • Anxiety and stress-reduction techniques
  • Engaged listening and problem-solving skills
  • Recognizing and managing emotions
  • Enhancing self-esteem, assertiveness and confidence
  • Self-care and coping

This is a 10-week program. Each session is approx. 2 ½ hours in length.

Tentatively scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2020 to Thursday, November 26, 2020
6:00 – 8:30 p.m. via secure Zoom.

The program will provide you with the tools and techniques to deal with anger in a positive and effective way:

  • Learn direct, firm, respectful communication
  • Become more assertive
  • Turn “volume” down on thoughts of anger

Cost $400  |  $40 individual pre-group session

Couples Conflict Resolution is a four-week group workshop aimed at providing couples with a thorough understanding of relationship dynamics, skills for communication, and tools for de-escalation and connection. This program is facilitated by an experienced couples therapist.
