Music therapy is the clinical use of music to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs. Through intentional and evidence-based musical experiences, clients will participate in group musical activities to achieve specific therapeutic goals. Musical experiences include but are not limited to, instrument playing, group singing, songwriting, and lyric analysis.

Key areas that will be covered include:
– Participants will improve communication skills by engaging in musical activities like singing and rhythm games.

– Participants will enhance motor skills and coordination by playing instruments and moving to music.

– Participants will build social connections by participating in group music-making and shared experiences.

In addition to these important skills, the group features an open and safe space for individuals to explore their self-expression musically, supporting their mental health journeys.
